INDICATIONS
Broad spectrum roundworm, tapeworm and bot remedy for horses of all ages including pregnant mares.
Large Strongyles, Small Strongyles, Ascardis, Pinworm, Hairworms, Intestinal Threadworms, Large Mouthed Stomach Worms, Lungworms, Bots and Cestodes

COMPOSITION
Ivermectin 12 mg/g
Praziquantel 150 mg/g

STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place below 25 °C.

WARNINGS
• DO NOT USE ON ANIMALS INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
• Pregnant mares should be treated with the usual additional care.
• Keep out of reach of uninformed persons, children and animals.
• Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If
this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

PRECAUTIONS
• Store in a safe place.
• Do not smoke or eat while handling the product.
• Wash hands after use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: USE ONLY AS DIRECTED
• Pegaforte® is administered orally.
• Each marking on the syringe delivers enough paste for 100 kg body mass.
• The recommended dosage is 200 µg of Ivermectin and 2,5 mg of Praziquanel per kg of body mass.
• One 10g syringe contains sufficient paste to treat one 600 kg horse at the recommended dose rate.

ADMINISTRATION
• The body mass of the horse should be determined accurately to facilitate administration of the correct dose.
• Before administration, ensure that the horse does not have food in its mouth.
• Insert syringe in the gap between the front and back teeth and deliver paste onto the back of the tongue.
• Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure swallowing of the paste.
